Bret Ruckman
I started climbing in 1978 in Little Cottonwood Canyon outside of Salt Lake City and co-wrote two rock climbing guides for the Wasatch Range of Utah. In 1986, my wife Judy and I moved to Boulder, and I began working at Neptune Mountaineering, where I stayed until 1996. Having actively climbed all around the Boulder area for nearly 30 years now, the Flatirons have become my favorite local climbing spot. I am honored to be a part of the FCC with its commitment to continued access and preservation of this amazing resource.
