Trail Volunteer Day – Hillbilly Rock April 9

The Flatirons Climbing Council (FCC) in conjunction with the Boulder Climbing Community (BCC) and the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) is conducting a volunteer trail project on Saturday, April 9.

The project will restore the approach area to the crag and direct traffic to the new access trail being built by the BCC professional trail crew. Volunteers will work along side the OSMP trail crew and FCC members from 9:00 to 3:00, with a break for lunch.

We will meet between 8:00am and 8:30am at the NCAR parking lot to complete volunteer waiver forms, review safety guidelines and distribute lunch and FCC t-shirts. OSMP will provide all tools but we ask that you bring work gloves and eye protection. Please make sure to wear long pants, closed-toed shoes and appropriate attire for the anticipated weather. Please leave pets at home for their safety and the safety of others.
