Joseffa Meir
FCC Secretary
Joseffa started climbing in 1992 and has been addicted to climbing ever since. She learned to lead with the Purdue Outing Club in the Red River Gorge and other local crags. Joseffa then moved to Atlanta and enjoyed learning traditional climbing at places like Tennessee Wall and many beautiful crags in North Carolina. Her passion for climbing eventually drew her out west when she moved to Denver in 1999.
Joseffa now lives in Boulder with her husband and husky and loves climbing in the Flatirons and Eldorado Canyon as much as possible. She also enjoys trying to fit in many desert trips to Indian Creek. Joseffa recently spent 3 years in Scandinavia and was able to enjoy some of their incredible climbing and culture. Upon returning to Boulder in 2014, she now appreciates the beauty of the Flatirons in her backyard with a new passion and realizes how lucky we are to be able to live in Colorado and enjoy the bountiful sunshine and rock climbing.
