Flagstsaff After Dark Parking Permit

Under a new City of Boulder ordinance, effective November 18, 2021 parking along Flagstaff Road (above the turnoff for Gregory Canyon) will only be allowed from 5am – 9pm, rather than the previous time of 5am – 11pm.  This change was necessary to facilitate law enforcement activities after dark.
This is only a parking rule.  The boulders and trails will remain open 24/7, for those willing to park at the base of Flagstaff and hike or bike up/down.
A new pilot permit program allows parking between 9pm-5am. Permits need to be obtained online seven days in advance and are free of charge for Boulder County registered vehicles.  Vehicles registered outside of Boulder County will incur a $5 daily fee.
